Perú: 350 años de la congregación

Queridas Hermanas del Niño Jesús:

 
Mi nombre es Néstor Jiménez López, soy profesor 25 años en una escuela de FE Y ALEGRÍA en el Perú, que dirigen las Hermanas de la Congregación (“FE Y ALEGRÍA 33 en “Mi Perú” / Ventanilla);  y soy parte de un equipo de profesores (Prof. Diana Saavedra, Prof. Norma Miranda, Prof. Alex Espinal y yo) que tenemos la tutoría de 4 salones (123 jóvenes estudiantes) que el próximo año terminarán sus estudios en esta escuela y saldrán a la sociedad llenos de entusiasmo y cargados con todos los valores que aquí, en nuestra escuela,  les hemos podido inculcar; junto con todo esto, tan bonito, está también la alegría y la emoción de poder celebrar, el próximo año,  esta fecha tan importante para todos nosotros: LOS 350 AÑOS DE LA CONGREGACIÓN. Es para cada uno de nosotros un gozo inmenso poder ser los mayores del colegio en esta fecha tan importante para todos los que somos parte de esta maravillosa obra, para la Historia y para la Iglesia, y queríamos poderles comunicar esto y además las ganas de poder organizar (como profesores y alumnos en todo el mundo) algún momento o actividad solidaria (testimonio) JUNTOS; con todas nuestras escuelas y obras en el mundo  como un homenaje a nuestro Padre NICOLÁS BARRÉ y en agradecimiento a Dios por poder compartir tanta alegría.

Nuestros alumnos están felices con la idea ya que se dan cuenta de todo lo maravilloso que ha sido para cada uno de ellos poder estudiar en esta escuela con el carisma de las HERMANAS DEL NIÑO JESÚS y ahora quisiéramos poder compartir este gozo en forma organizada con todas nuestras obras, hacia el mundo que tanto necesita gestos bonitos de solidaridad, amistad y fe, y más aún viniendo de jóvenes convencidos y agradecidos por todos los bienes recibidos en su escuela de parte de Dios.

Dear Sisters of the Infant Jesus,

 
My name is Néstor Jiménez López.  I am a teacher  who has been working in a Fe y Alegria school (“Fe y Alegria” 33 in “Mi Peru” – Ventanilla) for 25 years. I am also part of a team of tutors (with Diana Saavedra, Norma Miranda and Alex Espinal).    Between our four tutorial groups, we have 123 young students who will finish in this school next year (2012), full of enthusiasm and with all the values that we, as teachers, have imparted to them. In addition to this, it is a great joy to celebrate such a special date in 2012 for all of us: THE 350th ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONGREGATION. We want to let you know not only how happy and lucky we feel to be part of this wonderful work for the church but also how motivated and inspired we feel to organize (as teachers and students all over the world) a special moment or activity of solidarity with all our schools and works as a tribute to Father NICOLÁS BARRÉ and as an expression of gratitude to God who allows us to share such joy.

Our students are happy with the idea because they recognize how wonderful it has been for them to study in this school with the charism of the INFANT JESUS SISTERS.  So, we want to share this joy in an organized way through our works in a world that really needs gestures of solidarity, friendship and faith; gestures that come from young students convinced and grateful for all the good things they have received in their school as a gift from God.

Las sugerencias, por ahora, para esta celebración son:
ORGANIZAR:
1.- Un momento de oración y/o Eucaristía en todas las obras del mundo el mismo día.
2.- Un gesto de solidaridad con alguna de las obras de la Congregación que en el mundo más lo necesite y/o en su país de origen o continente, a través de alguna actividad que organicen los jóvenes con este objetivo.
3.- Un encuentro intercontinental vía internet de los alumnos.
4.- Encuentros locales (Jornadas de Integración) de los alumnos que participan en las escuelas de la Congregación.

For now, our suggestions for this celebration are:
To organize:
1.    A moment of prayer and/or Eucharist in all the works of the congregation throughout the world on the same day.
2.    A gesture of solidarity with one of the works of the congregation most in need of help in their home country or continent through an activity organized by the young people.
3.    An intercontinental meeting among the students through the internet.
4.    Local meetings (reflection days) among the students of the congregation’s schools.

Quisiéramos queridas Hermanas, a través de ustedes, podernos comunicar con algunos profesores comprometidos en sus colegios para poder intercambiar nuestras oraciones y alguna actividad que pueda dar testimonio de tanta alegría, JUNTOS. Estamos seguros que para nuestros alumnos será  una oportunidad maravillosa de poder vivenciar esta fecha tomando conciencia de que somos parte de un CUERPO y de poder tener también la oportunidad de agradecer a Dios por los valores aprendidos.

Queridas Hermanas esto es lo que sugerimos, poder organizar de parte de nosotros los profesores y alumnos de nuestras escuelas con todo el entusiasmo que provoca esta celebración, y que pueda ser también, allí donde estemos, una catequesis viva de cuánto nos pueden mover  LA FE, LA ESPERANZA Y EL AMOR.

Hermanas, quisiéramos poder conocer su opinión al respecto y saber si es posible  que podamos realizar todo o parte, o quizás algunas otras ideas, lo importante es que todo ese cariño y gratitud que les tenemos por su trabajo y por compartir con nosotros su espiritualidad y carisma lo quisiéramos expresar nosotros también como profesores y alumnos.

Sisters, we would like you to help us to make contact with committed teachers in your schools so as to share or exchange our prayers and, perhaps, an activity, which would show how we are experiencing this joy together. We are sure that this would be a wonderful opportunity for our students to take part in this special celebration and be aware that we are all part of a BODY and also to thank God for all the values that we have learnt.

As you can see, dear Sisters, we propose not only an enthusiastic celebration for this special date but also a living catechesis inspired by FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE.

Finally, we would like to know what you think about this idea and if it is possible to do all or at least some of the suggested activities. As teachers and students, the most important thing for us is to express our affection and gratitude for your work and for sharing your charism and spirituality with us.
