The National Productivity Centre and Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, having evaluated the students in different institutions around Nigeria, decided to nominate Nicolas Barre College, Ganye, for a national award, recognizing and celebrating people in the Nigerian private sector who have played exceptional roles in good leadership and Productivity. This award was given to Sr Rita Shumen, the school headmistress, during a two-day Innovation Summit. A great joy and recognition for the Infant Jesus Sisters, the management, staff, parents and students of Nicolas Barre College.
