A new General Council for Infant Jesus Sisters!

ree

At the end of the second week of our General Chapter, it is with great joy that we announce that our sisters Marina Motta (Italy), Celina Wong (Malaysia), Béatrice Abega (Cameroun), and Kitty Ellard (Ireland-England) have accepted with faith and courage the call of God and the sisters to lead our Institute for the next six years.

It was a week rich in meetings, sharing and discernment on the themes of the chapter. The richness and abundance of reflections and personal contributions enriched and helped us to look together at the steps to be taken for the future.

The daily Mass shared with the Brothers of the Christian Schools gives us strength and nourishment to continue the journey.

The audience, meeting and photo with Pope Leo XIV was a moment of grace and hope; the Pope addressed these words to us: "I encourage you to be eloquent signs of God's love and missionaries of his peace."

Our stay at the well with Jesus and the Samaritan woman continues in an atmosphere of deep listening and with the desire to give shape to our reflections and thus be able to trace the path for the future of the Institute.
