‘All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit…

'When the day of Pentecost had come, the disciples were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting…' (Acts 2:1)

 What the spirit brings is:

love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustfulness, gentleness and self-control.

‘Since the Spirit is our life, let us be directed by the Spirit…’ Gal 5:22-26

'As we approach Pentecost let us ask the Spirit to sow these gifts in our life and ask Nicolas Barré to remind the Spirit ‘to always be our source of life’  (A.D. 9-10)

Fr. Barré also asked that ‘we take possession of the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit takes possession of us’   ‘To take possession is to receive an inheritance. Let the Spirit lead us along the paths of the Gospel, and make us free to share the water of Life with the thirsty of our world’.  (Pentecost Letter)

Sit and Meditate:  Breathe in the grace-filled, lifegiving light of the Spirit

            Breathe out this love to others and to all in our planet who are in need of the Holy Spirit’s transforming presence.
