All Saints

All Saints’ Day is a time to remember with gratitude all those persons whose goodness has inspired us and given us courage to act and live.

Saints are not only those women and men who have been canonized by the church, but all the people whose lives reflect the goodness of God.

Matt. 5,14-16 ‘You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to God’.

Fr. Barré in his writings says: We have not reached holiness as long as we are aware of our neighbour’s faults’

‘The Mistress of the Charitable School should be holy or at least desirous of becoming so, for without that, they will not have the zeal necessary to work for the sanctification of their neighbour’ PM 27

Think today about the saint that has inspired you, and in what way? Try to live a quality of that saint…
