England: Paths of Hope to Overcome the Crisis

The health crisis in England over the past year has brought about some great initiatives and creativity in our apostolate. In the Midlands, people in need can no longer be accommodated in our buildings and many staff and volunteers can no longer come to work. So we had to adapt! Basic necessities (food, clothes, etc.) are distributed at the door or delivered to isolated homes.

For pupils and students who have to follow their courses online, we have provided many families with the computer equipment they need. Support is given by telephone. An anonymous benefactor donated a minibus to the Brushstrokes Project and the Hope Project in Wolverhampton has been recognised as one of the leading charities in the Midlands for helping those in need during this health emergency.

Cheers for a job well done!
