Merry Christmas

Through Mary, God gave himself to the world. Today it is our turn: the Word of God needs to take flesh in our lives to be given to the people around us and to reach out to the most fragile and vulnerable. Let us not be surprised if the paths we follow are sometimes difficult or confusing. May our difficulties, our doubts, our questions not stop the Magnificat of our lives! Let us accept to move forward with our questions without having ready-made answers, confident that "the light has come into the world and the darkness cannot overpower it" (St John 1).

To all of you, in Asia, in Europe, in Africa, in Latin America, I wish a very happy Christmas, full of hope and trust.
