One in Christ - United in Mission

On Sunday 18th October, the catholic church celebrates the 100th anniversary of World Mission Sunday. The theme: One in Christ – United in Mission invites us to be in communion of faith with God and among ourselves. A church that prays, a church that is united, is a visible sign of God’s Kingdom.

By using the talents that God has given us to reach out to others, the God news is for all.  ‘As the Father sent me, so am I sending you’ John 20:21

Pope Leo encourages all of us to ‘contribute to the great mission of evangelization – which is always a work of love.  Prayer and practical support help bring the Gospel of God’s love to everyone, especially the poorest and those most in need’

We, the Infant Jesus Sisters, by drawing nearer to the people to whom we are sent, discover with them signs of the presence of the living God. We help each other to respond to His call.

The gospel is lived when we meet, share and walk together in joy.

We pray Lord  to be builders of hope and peace.
