Religious women are synonymous with generosity...

The world needs generous women: this is what the Pope said to a delegation of religious women recently received at the Vatican. This is a wonderful encouragement for all those around the world who devote themselves entirely to the service of God and others, like our sisters of the Infant Jesus.
Leo XIV detailed how urgent it is for our times to have more and more of these ‘generous women’ who ‘do not hesitate to take risks’ in order to live and implement God's plan. The courage of the pioneers – when establishing various religious congregations across the globe, in the face of risks and problems – led some of them to martyrdom and ‘paved the way for many others’. Today, every religious woman, in her own way and in her own place, where the Lord has willed her to be, continues the work. The common thread linking them all and the pillar of their lives of service, the Pope reminded them, is prayer, which allows them to draw from ‘the same source, Christ,’ ‘the strength of fidelity.’
Thank you all!
The pontifical address concluded with a heartfelt thank you ‘for the good’ done ‘in so many countries around the world and in so many different contexts’. We in turn thank the Holy Father for this recognition of the universal Church.
Present on four continents and in some fifteen countries, we work in schools, hospitals, clinics, with migrants, isolated people, people in difficulty...
With one guiding principle: to serve Christ through our neighbour, especially the most vulnerable.
