Contemplation allows us to see the truth of things in their wholeness. The contemplative mind does not tell us what to see but teaches us how to see.
To begin to see with new eyes, we must observe. It transforms our ways of looking at the realities of the world and awakens a desire within us to do the will of God.
If we allow the Holy Spirit to take possession of us, He will gradually bring about the unity of our apostolic lives in which action and contemplation permeate each other.

This enables us to hear the cry of the poor and their aspirations.
Mary never ceased to contemplate the action of God in herself and in her people.
We have just celebrated Good Shepherd Sunday.
We invite all young people to contemplate God’s call in their lives;
listen to what He is calling you to,
and respond with generosity...
