Welcome Leo XIV

With gratitude for the ways in which Pope Francis has accompanied our Church, we welcome Leo XIV with happiness and confidence. We have heard his call: Without fear, all united, hand in hand, with God, let us go forward: we are disciples of Christ, Christ goes before us. The world needs his light. Humanity needs him to be the bridge that leads us to God.

These words echo those we have chosen as the theme for our next General Chapter:

‘If you only knew the gift of God...’. (Jn 4)
