Prayer of Thanksgiving for the World Day of Consecrated Life (2nd February)
God of all goodness,we give you thanks for the gift of consecrated lifein the heart of your Church and in the life of the world.
We praise you for women and menwho, called by your Spirit,have dedicated their lives wholly to youthrough vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.Through their faithfulness,they reflect the light of Christand bear witness to your enduring love.
We thank you for their generous servicein prayer and contemplation,in pastoral care and education,in works of justice, mercy, and mission,often carried out quietly and faithfullyamid the daily challenges of ecclesial life.
On this World Day of Consecrated Life,renew in them the joy of their vocation,strengthen them in times of trial,and fill them with hope and courage for the future.
May their lives continue to inspire usto listen more deeply to your call,to serve more generously,and to trust more fully in your promises.
We offer this prayer with grateful hearts,through Christ our Lord. Amen.
